Corn is useful cereal which is
used for making flour, grits, chips, animal feed, etc and is grown
worldwide. There are many machines which are involved in the processing

mill grind the corn for producing corn flour and grits.

Corn mill is an easy to operate, multi usage machine which has
following features :
- Corn mill is available in various shapes, sizes, weights and
configurations.
- Corn mill is used for milling corn, making flour and producing
grits.
- It consists of a conical hopper which pushes the grain in the
moving chute which is operated by cam.
- There are two discs which are meant for grinding. Of the two
discs one is stationary whereas other is rotationary.
- The fineness of the flour milled is controlled by adjusting the
clearance between the two discs.
- There is also a controlling screw which is provided on the
operators side which also adjust the fineness of the flour.
- The mill is operated with electric motor and flat belt pulleys.
Some models of the mill also consists of v-belt drive.
- Some of the corn mill uses aluminum oxide mill stone which
offers exceptionally low wear.
