Corn Washer

Corns are processed to make various food items for consumption for both humans and cattles. The various corn products like corn flour, tortilla chips, grits, corn flakes, etc are made by processing corn with the help of different machines like corn mills, corn boiler, corn ovens, corn simmering system, corn polisher etc. Corn, after harvesting is washed and cleared by using corn washer machine.

Mechanical operations
Corn washer consists of water separator, auger feeder, drain conveyor, vibratory separator and booster pump. Corn is rinsed in the washers opened tank in a controlled fashion through adjustable water level and fresh water sprays. The water spray is controlled by booster pump. The overflow water drainage clears the corn from all the hulls and debris. Vibratory separator finally removes hulls from drain water.
