Drum Detacher
The flour mill consists of
various machines for milling grains to obtain flour. The drum detacher
is a small equipment designed for breaking the flakes which is resulted
from the passage of the rolls in a flour mill. The drum detacher reduces
the load from the subsequent roller mills.
How does a Drum Detacher Operates?
The machine consists of rotor, conveying blades, drum encloser, inlet
hopper, etc. The grain enters at the top end and leaves the machine from
the bottom end. The grains grinded by the smooth rolls enters through
the inlet hopper. The beaters forced the grinded grains several times to
the walls with good force which break the grains. After this action
grains are transferred to the discharge spout.
