The crab or lobster belongs to
anamalia group which is found in seas or oceans. They are one of the
most liked sea food across the world. They constitute one - fifth of all
marine crustaceans and are consumed worldwide. Crabs/lobster are
carefully processed using machines in order to avoid wastage. The
different types of processing machines used for crab/lobster processing
are :
- Crab Meat Extractor
It is used for processing the cooked crab. It has individual saws
to cut the legs, and individual leg squeezers in order to extract
the meat. The shell is then removed away from the meat trough which
carries the meat to the next processing station.
- Butcher Machine
Butcher machine is designed to slice the crab in half after which
the brush is used to remove the gills. After removing gills, they
are passed to the next step of processing.
- Claw Crusher
Crushing crab claws is a tough task and high wastage process. Crab

- Leg Meat Machine
Leg meat of crab contains white meat which are squeezed out by
